I rarely leave reviews for anything I buy, but I've made an exception this time. I began losing my hair almost 20 years ago (extensive, diffuse thinning). I eventually started applying minoxidil twice a day but grew frustrated with the painfully slow progress. My heart sank and I nearly quit. I eventually learned of the benefits of micro needling from a couple YouTubers, but cringed at the thought of using one of those standard rollers, which are painful, tear the skin, and are not that effective. I nearly gave up, but decided to give Dr pen a try. I'm pleased to report that my hair is steadily growing thicker every couple of weeks. Note: I use the Dr pen Ultima A6 twice a week at a depth of 0.5 mm which seems to do the trick for me. It's possible to re-use the cartridges as long as you sterilize and store them properly, but I like to use a fresh cartridge for each application; this way, I can be sure the needles will be fully sharp and, therefore, less painful. I purchase my cartridges in bulk to stay well-stocked and save some money. Purchasing a Dr pen was easily one of the best decisions I've ever made - and that's not an exaggeration. I am regaining my self-confidence - looking and feeling more youthful and masculine, which is of course a priceless feeling. I love the results I'm getting and glad I made the investment. I will continue to use my Dr pen over the long term, and I will only be using authentic, Dr pen cartridges because I want to ensure I'm only using quality stuff - especially when punching holes in my head lol. HIgh quality pen at a fantastic price! It performs like a champ and the kit was complete -- ready to go the minute I received it. Dr. Pen is such a good name. Dr Pen 16-pin cartridges are easy to use. I like how easily they attach to the pen. I wouldn't have thought I could micro needle at home but it truly is so easy and convenient.
