Verify Your Dr. Pen Device
Every Dr. Pen device carries a one-time security code. Scratch it, enterit on the manufacturer's verification site, and you'll know in secondswhether your device is genuine — no matter where you bought it.

How to Verify
The verification system is run by the manufacturer, not by us. That's thepoint — you don't have to take any retailer's word for it.
1. Find the security label
Look on the outside of the retail box. The label is asilver scratch-off panel printed with a partial QR codeand a security number underneath.
2. Scratch off the coating
Use a coin. Scratch gently until the full QR code and the security code are readable. Don't tear the label — a damaged code can't be re-issued.
3. Check the code
Scan the QR code with your phone camera, or type the security code manually at drpen.com/verify.php. Theresult appears immediately.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Each code works once — and that's normal
Each security code is valid for a single verification. The first time a code is checked, the systemrecords it. If you check the same code again later, the site will show you the date and time of thatearlier check instead of a fresh “verified” message.
This trips people up, so it’s worth being clear: a previously-verified code is not a sign of a fake.Your device may have been checked at the warehouse, or you may have simply scanned it twiceyourself. What matters is that the code exists in the manufacturer’s system at all — a counterfeitcode returns nothing.
If the code returns no result, stop and contact us before using the device.
Hydra Pen and Bio Pen use different systems
The Dr. Pen family covers more than one product line, and they don’t all share a verification site:
- Dr. Pen devices (A-series, M-series, Q-series) — verify at drpen.com/verify.php
- Hydra Pen H3 / H5 / H6 — verified through the Hydra Pen system, not the Dr. Pen page
- Bio Pen Q2 — verified through its own separate system
If you enter a Hydra Pen or Bio Pen code on the Dr. Pen verification page, you’ll get no result.That’s a system mismatch, not a counterfeit.

How can I tell if my Dr. Pen is real?
Scratch the security label on the retail box to reveal the QR code and security number,then check it at drpen.com/verify.php. The verification system is operated by themanufacturer — no retailer, including us, can influence the result.
The site says my code was already verified. Is my device fake?
Almost certainlynot. Each code is single-use, so any second check returns the date of the first oneinstead of a fresh confirmation. A counterfeit code returns no record at all. If you'reunsure, send us a photo of the label and your order number.
My code returns no result. What now?
Stop and contact us with your order numberand a photo of the label before using the device. If you bought from us, we'll resolveit. If you bought elsewhere, take it up with that seller — but the verification resultis your evidence.
Is drpenclub.com an official Dr. Pen distributor?
No. We're an independentretailer and we're not affiliated with the Dr. Pen brand owner. Be cautious of anyseller claiming to be the "official" or "exclusive" Dr. Pen distributor — those claimsare often inaccurate. What we can offer is something you can check yourself: averifiable security code on every device we ship.
I scratched the label too hard and the code is damaged. Can I still verify?
Codescan't be re-issued once the label is damaged. Contact us with your order number — wecan confirm the device's supply channel from our own records, though that isn't asubstitute for the manufacturer's verification.
Does a genuine device have to come from an authorized seller?
The security codetells you whether the device is genuine. It doesn't tell you who sold it, what warrantyyou have, or whether you can return it. Those come from your seller — which is why thecode is necessary but not sufficient.
